313 BIDDING RULES• It is distinguished between “silent auction” and “live auction”.• During the 63rd CIC General Assembly all auction lots, except those

designated for the live auction (to be held during the Gala dinner on 23 April 2016), are part of the silent auction.

• For all lots minimum prices have been set below their commercial values.• No bid can be made neither during the silent auction nor the live auction

below the set minimum price. All bids need to be in Euros.• BIDS ARE ONLY ACCEPTED IF THE VALUE IS MINIMUM 10 %

HIGHER THAN THE PREVIOUS BID.• Bidding for lots in the silent auction starts on 22 April at 8:00. Bids are

to be submitted in writing on the card provided and to be inserted in the designated box (Hunting for Treasure box). Th e status of the silent auction is refreshed every hour until 20:00.

• THE SILENT AUCTION ENDS ON 23 APRIL AT 15:00.• THE WINNING BIDS WILL BE PRESENTED AT THE

ENTRANCE OF THE GALA DINNER ON 23 APRIL AT 19:00.• Bidding for the lots designated for the live auction takes place by raising

your arm and waiting until you are identifi ed by the auctioneers or their assistants.

• Th e winner of the lot commits himself/herself by signing the “Bid card” to transfer the fi nal price of the lot in question to the CIC account within two weeks aft er the General Assembly is fi nished.

• Every unsold lot will be marketed by the CIC Headquarters, or its delegated partners.

• All income from the auction is transparently used for CIC projects and its use is supervised and monitored by the CIC Treasurer and Internal auditor.

CIC Director General reserves the right to withdraw any hunt from the auction
