For students, the form is accessible HERE. It is recommended that you save the link on your mobile or desktop device for easy access. A reminder will be sent every morning via text to in-school cohort families at approximately 6:30 AM. Should there be an answer of “YES” to any of the five questions on a given day, the student or staff member must stay home and should call his/her health care provider or the school health office for additional guidance. Also be reminded that all individuals entering a school building must walk through a temperature scanner each morning as an additional screening mechanism. Google Classroom Invitations Please note that invitations to join Google classroom (allowing access to your children’s assigned classes) will be available in the Clever application after 4:00 PM on Friday, September 4. Clever login directions were sent home by your child’s school earlier this week. These directions can also be found in the Parent Portal in the Upload section, as well as on our website and linked HERE. USDA Meal Flexibility Extension I am pleased to announce that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will extend waivers through December 31, 2020, allowing the district to serve free meals to all children, regardless of individual circumstances. This will help ensure widespread access to nutritious meals as the country recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic. When children are not in school (regardless of the model), “grab and go” meals will be available at the following locations and times on school days: Huntington High School (main entrance under the awning) – 10:00 AM–12:00 noon Jack Abrams STEM (cafeteria entrance on Tower Street) – 1:00–2:30 PM As always, thank you for your support and understanding! A Tradition of Excellence since 1657

Sinceramente,

James W. Polansky Superintendente de escuelas
