75TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION We would like to invite you to join us for a celebration next Sunday, October 6 during the 9:00 & 10:30 services. Guest Speaker will be
Dr. Tim Patrick. Lunch will be served in the Gym immediately following the second service. The church will provide the drinks and meat.
Invitations are in the church lobby.
DEACON ORDINATION Deacon Ordination is tonight at 6:15 PM. The Laying of Hands Ceremony will be at 5 PM. All ordained men are invited to come participate in this special time. A church-wide fellowship will be immediately following the Ordination service. Please remember to bring finger foods and desserts.
NEW MEMBER LUNCHEON The new member luncheon is immediately following the 10:30 AM service today and will be in the Gym.
FALL FESTIVAL CANDY COLLECTION It’s that time of year again to start collecting candy for our Fall Festival October 27 5:30-7:30 PM. We will collect candy through October 20. Please be in prayer about how you can serve during the fall festival. We need groups to volunteer to setup tents and hand out candy. See Rob for more details.
PASTOR SEARCH COMMITTEE NOMINATIONS There are ballots at the Connection Center that can be filled out and placed inside the ballot box. Please pray about your nominations before submitting them. Nominations will be accepted through October 2.
MEMORABILIA FOR 75TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION If you were married during the past 75 years at Chapel Hill, we would love to include a photo (8x10 or smaller) on a wedding display for our anniversary celebration October 6. Please get your picture (no frame needed) to Cindy Fulmer, Doris Harbin, Sonia Johnson, Angela Holcomb or Robin Milligan by Saturday, October 5. We will be hanging them in sheet protectors. Please put your names on the back for easy return.
