Their total outage is only 2,800 customers out of the total outage of 100,800. Gulf Power has the balance of the outages, 97,986 customers. GPC Estimated Times of Recovery are as follows: GPC has re-energized 100% of its substations. All transmission lines have been restored with the exception of 2 segments that should be restored by midnight tonight. GPC has completed restoration efforts in Niceville, Valparaiso and parts of Destin. This does not include Holiday Isle. The hardest hit counties by current outage percentages are Escambia 49% and Santa Rosa 44%. ESF 12 Energy Current Operations (continued) Power Ivan The estimated time of restoration by GPC is: 95% back in service for Escambia and Santa Rosa by midnight on October 6. The restoration in Okaloosa and Walton counties is essentially complete. 5,720 personnel, are working storm restoration. Efforts are being made to give priority to restoring service to schools that are in a position to accept service in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties Current Operations (continued) Fuel Three major ports are open, receiving ships and filling tankers. Fuel supply to the Panhandle by truck from ports and tank farms in FL, GA. & St. Marks. Truck supply from Mobile is on hold until they come back on line. Currently surveying fuel availability along evacuation routes in preparation for Hurrican Jeanne. Natural Gas: Minor leaks have been reported. All of them have been repaired.
