In September 2005 Hurricane Rita hit the gulf coast. The next slide has a set of data about that hurricane. Use the data about Hurricane Rita to make a table. Then describe how the hurricane’s strength changed over time.

On Sept 20, 2005, Hurricane Rita’s wind speed was 120 mi/h. On Sept 21, its wind speed was 175 mi/h. On Sept 22, its wind speed was 165 mi/h. On Sept 23, its wind speed was 125 mi/h. On Sept 24, its wind speed was 60 mi/h.

TEMPATURE DATA: At 10am, the temperature was 72°F. At noon, it was
85°F. At 2pm, it was 90°F. At 4pm, it was 94°F. At 6pm it was 92°F.
