Hurricane Sandy made landfall about 50 miles south of Jericho, NY at about 9 p.m. Monday.
Tuesday, the morning after Hurricane Sandy peaked with gusts of up to about 80 mph in Jericho, downed trees were found on nearly every block of East Birchwood, a community of 1,200 homes.
