hush homewear - its not just about the printing

We approached Hush, the UK’s leading nightwear and loungewear specialist over a year ago. Their product catalogues are very aspirational in their design with the clients investing a large amount on location photography for each seasonal campaign. Once we had met with them it became clear that they were losing detail in their clothing images when the catalogues were being printed and obviously being the main driver for sales this was not ideal. We suggested we trial our High Definition print to see if we could improve the vibrancy, colour and detail of the images. We worked closely with Hush and their design agency and they provided us with some images that they felt needed improving. I’m pleased to say that the results were very noticeable from what was being produced previously and Hush were delighted to see the difference between our High Definition process against conventional screening. The darker clothing was still holding the detail of the design in the product, the flesh tones looked real and the vibrancy was greatly improved. The catalogue had a look of a continuous tone product. In consultation we also value engineered the catalogue so we could offer a cut star product giving paper savings which we could pass down the line. The last catalogue went over to FastAnt, our marketing materials management company, where the job was mailed out using an RM AdMail Service. The results have been noticeable and Hush has seen uplift in sales and traffic on their website.
