HV Cable Termination

The ESP & ESS termination can be supplied for XLPE andEPR insulated cables within voltage range 60 kV to 300 kVin all outdoor installations, and can be mounted on cableswith copper or alumunium conductors 150 up to 2000sqm. ESP termination largely consist of prefabricated,slip-on silicone components, supporting property isensured by porcelain insulator. Stress control unit is caston a separate disc with gasket and draw onto the cut-backcable. Typetest standards according IEC 60840 andavailable with different pollution levels accordingIEC 60815.

� ESP & ESS Termination Type

The ESG & ESU termination provide conventionaltermination in accordance with IEC 60 859-1 for directintroduction of XLPE insulated high voltage cables in HVTransformer and HV Swicthgear equipment. Availablein vertical, horizontal or overhead versions. Operatingvoltage range 60 kV to 170 kV in indoor installations, andcan be mounted on cables with copper or alumuniumconductors 150 up to 2000 sqmm.

The one piece MSA slip-on joint is a prefabricatedand pre-tested joint made out of silicone rubber.Single piece joint means that all the field controlelements are integrated in one silicone sleeve. Thisenables the secure and efficient connection of twopolymeric-insulated cables (XLPE, EPR) withinvoltage range from 60 kV to 300 kV.

� MSA One Piece Slip-on Joint

The ESF flexible terminations are dry, slip-onterminations for modular assembly. The use of siliconesheds makes them ideally suited for applications inoutdoor installations. Type ESF terminations areavailable for voltages from 60 kV to 145 kV. The range ofmedium voltage terminations 10 kV, 20 kV and 30 kV arealso available upon request. This type of termination isthe only suitable product to be use for HV emergencycable jumper.
