Blended Learning

Blended learning is the thoughtful fusion of face-to-face and online learning experiences. The basic principle is that face-to-face oral communication and online written communication are optimally integrated such that the strengths of each are blended into a unique learning experience congruent with the context and intended educational purpose.

Connecting Theory to Practice

Hybrid Defined

Curriculum is designed intentionally and thoughtfully to integrate F2F and online learning experiences. F2F teaching time is reduced, but not eliminated, with the balance of learning being facilitated asynchronously or synchronously through digital/web-based technologies, or offline learning opportunities. Typically, 50%-80% of learning outside of class.
