After writing many success stories at Delhi and

Hyderabad, FIITJEE opened its Centre at Chennai in April

2005. The year 2007 was almost a miracle. 20 of the very

first batch of students from Pinnacle two year, integrated

school program were qualified in the IITJEE (highest from

any single schooling system in Tamil Nadu), with another

23 students from Class room program, totalling to 43 in

the IITJEE 2007 from FIITJEE Chennai Centre.

In the year 2008, FIITJEE created a big history in Chennai.

All India Rank 54 (the Top Rank in Tamil Nadu) was from FIITJEE's 2 year Classroom program batch, 64

students from Pinnacle 2 year Integrated program and another 44 students from two year classroom

program, made a total of 108 selections in the IIT JEE, 2008.

Today FIITJEE's programs are running in five different schools in Chennai. Pinnacle 2 year integrated

school program is now running at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Chetpet and at St. John's Sr. Sec School,

Adyar. Supreme 4 year integrated school program is running at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Chetpet and

Maharishi International Residential School. Non Integrated Classroom programs are available at DAV

Boys Sr. Sec School Mugappair and DAV Boys Sr. Sec. School, Gopalapuram along with the schools

mentioned above. Now FIITJEE has its own centre at Indira Nagar, Adyar also.

our competent team of faculty. Irrespective of their qualification, every faculty member inducted after a

very challenging selection process will undergo rigorous methodical, professional and scientific training

before presenting himself/herself in front of the students. Our specialized training enables every faculty

member to offer not only untiring academic help to the student in the class but also friendly/parental

moral support to the student. Apart from teaching, our faculty members will be trained to do the SWOT

analysis of each and every student which helps the students to improve his / her performance on day to day

basis.

In order to help the student better, Academic Operations department plays a vital role as a bridge between

faculty and students and is specially framed to ensure that all the issues of the students or parents related to

academics are resolved in top priority. Apart from this, the department informs daily time table, schedule

of examinations, mailing of performance reports and attendance reports of the students to parents,

counseling of students, arranging Parent Teachers Meet, distribution of study material etc.

Apart from this, there are well equipped Admission and Accounts Departments for the convenience of

students and parents.

In IIT-JEE 2008, 108 students out of 200 qualified*

from Chennai are FIITJEE students. The ranks

secured by our students are - AIR 54, AIR 118, AIR

272, AIR 398, AIR 724, AIR 727, AIR 798, AIR 855,

AIR 890, AIR 902 etc. It is the highest number of

selections from any single institute in Tamilnadu.

Out of 108 students, 64 students (51 main list + 13

EML) are from our integrated school program and

the rest 44 (32 main list + 12 EML) are from non

integrated programs.

In AIEEE 2008 more than 220 students are qualified from FIITJEE Chennai Centre. More over 41 students

from our Pinnacle program and more than 40 students from Non integrated program have joined NIT

Trichy alone.

1. Out of 186 students who appeared for CBSE class 12 board examination

Ø 95% and above - 5 students 90% and above - 48 students

Ø 85% and above - 108 students 80% and above - 146 students

Ø 3 centums in Mathematics

2. Out of 45 students who appeared for CBSE class 10 board examination

Ø 7 out of 45 appeared students have secured 90% and above

Ø 41 out of 45 appeared students have secured distinction in total marks

Ø 44 out of 45 students have secured distinction in Mathematics with 28 students securing 90 or

more in Mathematics.

Ø 44 out of 45 students have secured distinction in Science with 17 students securing 90 or

more in Science.

From our Ascent and Ascent Plus program for Class 10 and Pinnacle integrated school program for class 11,

11 students have qualified in NTSE 2008. A nd from our Target NTSE Program for class 8, 5 students have

qualified in NTSE 2008.

In KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) 2007, 2 students have got the final scholarship and for the

year 2008 more than 75 students cleared the Stage 1 examination and Stage II results are awaited.

FIITJEE Foundation

We understand that many students do not want to study in groups and prefer to study in a silent room. In this hostel, we have provided both the comforts. A more personalized room and a separate study room to the students where they can do concentrate much better on their studies. In order to help them better, while the students study hard, we have air conditioned the entire hostel. This hostel is located in Egmore in the near vicinity of the study centre and offers spacious comfortable stay.

Life in FIITJEE foundation:

Life in Campus Hostel

This hostel is located inside Maharshi Vidya Mandir (FIITJEE study

centre) campus itself. It offers a two tier sleeping bed arrangement in the

form of dormitory. For studies, they come to the classrooms and for

sports they move to a big playground. The campus Hostel accommodates

both girls and boys in two separate buildings.

This hostel is located in Kodambakkam, again in the vicinity of study centre, and offers a two tier sleeping bed with an individual work station to each student in a separate room attached with bathroom / toilet and offers Air conditioned atmosphere again an ideal place for those who do not like dormitories.

FIITJEE Chennai Centre organises a very challenging and prestigious Quiz

program titled SUMEDHA every year. The quality of the questions, way

of conduction, and the state of art technology used for this program have

made it unique in its kind. Just within three years from its inception, SUMEDHA has become magnificently

noteworthy among the students, as a result year after year the students' participation in this program is

increasing by leaps and bounds.

ELOQUENCE - The spring of life

FIITJEE's Pinnacle, Supreme and Ascent Plus programs are unique in their own ways. Apart from training the students in a very competent way for various academic examinations such as IITJEE,

AIEEE, Olympiads, KVPY etc, we also nurture them for an all round development by training them in

Communication and presentation Skills. Eloquence bridges the gulf between an individual and the world by moulding the personality traits and by

inducing the skills of the language English; thereby our FIITJEEians get the best platform to face the challenges

FIITJEE Sports Day - The spirit of good health

At FIITJEE yoga, meditation, sports and games are part of the curriculum for all Pinnacle, Supreme and Ascent

Plus students. We emphasise the students to understand the importance of these programs in life and we

implement them regularly. FIITJEE organises spectacular sports day every year. And for the year 2008, it was conducted on 29th of

December, 2008.
