Dear Parent,

It gives me great pleasure to introduce Ameya World School to you.

We are faced today with a confusing array of choices in all areas of our lives. Schooling for our children is no

exception. How is a parent to decide? Here are some questions that may arise. Does the school focus on learning by

understanding so that it is meaningful? Does the school connect learning to the real world rather than just having

children memorise for an exam? Does it provide a variety of play areas and open spaces for the children? Does the

school encourage children to question and think independently?

We encourage you to visit Ameya and see for yourself our spacious 9 acre campus, the extensive playgrounds,

swimming pool, library, computing environment and laboratories. Ameya believes that children's learning should

be well grounded in strong academic fundamentals based on understanding. Games, activites, experiments and

projects are woven into the learning day for a hands-on experience that enriches the class-room experience.

We are pleased that you are considering Ameya for your child. We have tried to present here the principles of our

school and its culture. It is our sincere and heart-felt desire that Ameya provide a safe, nurturing and joyful

learning environment for our children.

We hope to see your child here!

CHILD CENTRIC LEARNINGAmeya World SchoolThe joy of learning for life! The school has a friendly environment with an outstanding way to make even the simplest topics seem amazing. One of the most amazing things about our school which most schools don’t offer, is a pollution free area where kids enjoy learning. Another thing about my school is that there is some sort of bond between us and the teachers which is so hard to explain. Our Principal is a kind man. With no doubt, I can assure anyone who meets him will definitely like him. The best thing I like about our school is how time flies...once we set foot in it, it is almost time to leave.

Hruday Venkatasia, Class VI

Ameya's goal is for all children to do well and

learn better. For two consecutive years, for CBSE Class 10 boards, total class average CGPA

has been 9.0+ / 10.

My School...My WorldIt’s almost two years since I and my brother have been in Ameya and I have nothing to complain about. I have a lot of great friends, friendly teachers, and yes, the one thing that makes it just exceptional is we have three to four games periods out of the five or six days we attend... this is why it’s my WORLD.

WHOLISTIC DEVELOPMENTSportsAmeyans participate in diverse sports activities. Skills in specific sports such as Swimming, Skating, Football and Basketball are built throughout the school year.

MusicThe music curriculum at Ameya introduces students to the world of music in a global sense and enables them to be appreciative of good music. The Music Room has various musical instruments and Instructional Aids.

DanceThe dance curriculum exposes students to the rich history and heritage of classical indian dance forms.

Visual ArtThe primary purpose of the visual art curriculum is the creation of Aesthetic Awareness. This learning gives students the ability to appreciate visual art in totality and also to recognise its primary components: Form and Colour.

Social SkillsStudents look forward to the daily bus trip to school where they can spend fun time with their friends and bond with fellow students. This creates camaraderie and helps in the overall development of social skills in students.

“Every morning, I wake up feel ing happy and exc i ted about my journey on the bus. I board the bus feel ing f resh and joyful as I wi l l be surrounded by students of d i fferent c lasses. EMPOWERED TEACHERSXSEED and IDISCOVERYXSEED helps implement innovative teaching methods and experiential learning in classrooms that challenge current standards and raises the bar on teaching and learning. Our teachers undergo iDiscoveri XSEED training sessions in addition to regular professional development training to help children in hands-on and effective learning.

Parental InvolvementAt Ameya, we consider parental involvement in their child’s school education as a critical success factor in the overall development of every student. We conduct periodic Parent - Teacher Meetings to keep parents updated on the progress of their child in scholastic and co-scholastic areas.

Teacher appreciation certificates to teachers of Ameya from the HRD Minister, Government of India

Greatness begins with youA life without curiosity is quite simply a boring life. In a recent visit to one of the classes in a reputed school the topic to be taught was ‘’Nightmares’’. The class was like a mourning place. Pin drop silence... no questions...no comments...just silence. I felt no one understood what I was saying. I came back to Ameya, entered a class, and took up the same topic. I was spellbound. The class was responding like rockets; it was raining questions. Reflecting back I realised somewhere, we, at Ameya, are responsible for it, to develop this high level of curiosity in the children. The XSEED training is a major catalyst. I have learnt how to make students curious and encourage them to keep on learning.

We stepped into Ameya with great expectations and are fully satisfied that we have made the right decision. Our children have never looked back from the day they entered into Ameya. We are glad to say that our children have furthered their studies with minimum stress and at the same time they have got a feel of a different variety of sport, art forms, developed good personality, concern towards others, virtues, all of which go to make a complete person. We are fortunate that we have joined our children into Ameya where they get almost all that is required for proper growth and development of children, into bright shining stars of tomorrow.

PARENT TESTIMONIALS

Ameya is a place where kids get time to do all kinds of stuff. Kids here, just don’t learn things but they learn it with a live experience. We have our both daughters in Ameya! And we are very happy with their schooling! So are our kids!

Mrs. and Mr. KrishnakanthParents of Nanditha and Namratha

Thank you AMEYA for listening to our needs from past 4 years and fulfilling them with patience and we sincerely appreciate the effort the management makes to run the school and always keeps the parents involved on every detail, even a slight delay of the bus. Keep going everybody, your hard work and efficiency will give you good result. All the Best.

Mrs. and Mr. Rakesh Godavarthi Parents of Kavya

Our child, till grade V, was much dependant on us. But once he started a new life in Ameya World School , a tremendous transformation came over him. The first change we noticed in him was that he started speaking in English. One day he came to us and said,”May I go on the educational tour to Hyderabad?”. We were surprised. We doubted whether it is our child who has become so bold. We were in a dilemma. Would he be able to manage on his own? We decided to give it a try. After his return from the tour we were glad to know that he throughly enjoyed the trip. He assured us that henceforth he would be able to manage his affairs. He has stood by his word. That’s the kind of courage and learning Ameya has given our child. We are now confident that he would be able to face the challenges of life with the kind of exposure he gets at Ameya.

Mrs. and Mr. M. Ravi KumarParents of Roshan

Ameya provides an atmosphere conducive to all round development of the kids - far from the madding crowd. We are happy to have our kids in Ameya.

Our hunt for an ideal school was on ever since our daughter turned two. We found Ameya World School to be very promising. The huge campus abundant with nature and friendly environment assured us of our child’s progress here. Our daughter thoroughly enjoyed her three years spent at Ameya. The school is very much student-centric and has adopted a very good curriculum. The School authorities are very responsive to anything related to the student – even the smallest of the issues. We congratulate those at the helm of affairs for their vision and their efforts to realize it. We wish Ameya the very best and much more.
