Transplantation of Trees
A forestation
HITAM understood the importance of trees and their protection for the safe
environment. The simple way to save the trees is to stop cutting them. Our sentiments,
emotions, and expressions attached with the HITAM green landscape are very well
understood. Hence, the management took the noble decision that “NOT to cut
but RELOCATE TREES” in the campus. With related to this decision HITAM transplanted
existing trees from the site required for new development to the other identified places. For
transplantation of trees the total estimated cost was around 2 Lakhs. Despite of the heavy
cost HITAM successfully transplanted 25 trees with in its campus in the month of
November. HITAM fraternity welcomed the decision and appreciated the noble cause.
