Acadia is one of the last Hylas 54’s built. Like all Hylas yachts she was built to her originalowners’ specifications. She was optimized to be a true live aboard, world cruising yacht.However, over the past several years Acadia has been brought to an exceptional, rarelyachieved, standard. Her current owner has taken an already magnificent vessel to a level thatfew yachts in this class can draw parallels to. Acadia has undergone a comprehensive refit thathas taken several years to complete and puts her in a class of her own. She is a turnkey yachtthat will make her new owners proud for many years to come.

The Hylas 54 may have been the top cruising vessel of its generation. These fifty-four footvessels are easily managed by a couple, comfortable to live on for long periods and exhilaratingto sail. When German Frers designed this hull he had offshore sailing in mind. This easily drivenhull shape coupled with clever equipment access and layout contributed greatly to the successof the design. Acadia couples this pedigree with her relatively young age and a complete refit,to make her one of the top cruising yachts available today.
