Screening Results• Requires a temporary detour during construction - approximately 1 year duration, 1.6 miles long. (See detour map on right.)• Least potential to impact surrounding properties.• Would fulfill the original function of the crossing when it was installed with original roadway (provide access from Method Road community to Oak Grove Cemetery).• Would not fulfill local plans. City of Raleigh and NC State University plans include improved connectivity (car, bus, pedestrian, and bicycle) along Ligon Street.
