Maintenance & Custodial Position Open
SS. Cyril & Methodius seeks a Mainte-nance and Custodial person. Duties include cleaning, maintenance of par-ish property, ground maintenance, or-dering supplies, snow shoveling and setting up for parish functions. Must be able to work some weeknights and weekends and work with little supervi-sion. Please send resume to [email protected].
Director of Administration & Operations
Full Time Parish Director responsible for managing operations of the three parish-es. Serves as Director of HR, Supervisor of staff, responsible for budgets, financ-es, programing and strategic planning. MBA with accounting/management expe-rience preferred. Reply by November 25th to Fr. Paul at: [email protected].
In today’s Gospel Jesus tells us: “I want you to ob-serve that this poor widow contributed more than all the others who
donated to the treasury. They gave from their surplus wealth, but she gave from her want, all that she had to live on.”
Ask yourself “Am I only giving from my surplus wealth?” and then put your gift in the Society of St. Vincent de Paul poor box so that those who are suffer-ing will be able to know God’s love and care.
If you would like additional information or would like to be a member of St. Vincent de Paul, please call Barb An-derson (IC) at 208-1546 or Scott Payne (SPC) at 262-853-4271 or Joe Brager (SSCM) at 287-4082.
Stewardship Thought
As we pray for increase of spiritual gifts, we are reminded by the Bishops’ Pastoral Letter on stewardship that good stewardship of the Church “means cherishing and fostering the gifts of all, while using one’s own gifts to serve.

Readings for the Week
November Tri-Parish Outreach
Parish Outreach for the month of November is the She-boygan County Warming Center. The Warming Center is a safe and warm place where the homeless can spend the cold winter nights. Please give generously.
Need extra money for the Holiday Season?
SS. Cyril & Methodius is looking for someone to help with snow shoveling and snow blowing on the parish grounds. De-pending on the amount of snowfall, it shouldn’t take longer than 2 hours. This is a paid position, on-call Sunday morn-ings/evenings and Wednesday mornings/evenings and as needed throughout the winter season. Snowblower, shovels and ATV equipment available. Call Nancy at the Parish Office for additional information.
SPC in Need of Ushers
Would you like to help us while you are attending Mass ??? We are in need of ushers at St. Peter Claver. We are looking for men, women and teens.
Are you thinking I would rather sit with my family? That can be arranged. You can sit with your family and still be an ush-er, helping with the Collection and Communion.
If you are interested, please call Rochelle Ross, 457-9408 or speak to any current usher.
Organ Repairs at St. Peter Claver and SS. Cyril & Methodius
We recently signed contracts with Berghaus Pipe Organ Build-ers to have organ repairs done at both St. Peter Claver and SS. Cyril & Methodius.
At SS. Cyril & Methodius, five reservoirs (bellows) need to be releathered. The organ will not be playable from November 5 through November 30. Total cost of the project is $16,000.
At St. Peter Claver, two reservoirs need to be releathered and three offset chests need to be replaced. The organ will not be playable from November 5 through No-vember 20. Total cost of the project is $27,000. It was further recommended that the organ at SPC undergo a thorough cleaning to improve tuning stability, tonal clarity and better performance. Cost of the cleaning is $65,000. It was decided to hold off with the cleaning until we raise enough to cover some or all of the cost.
Both organs will be operational for the Christmas Season.
If you are interested in contributing to the organ fund, specially marked envelopes are provided in the church pews. We are most grateful for any size contribution. Thank you for your consideration.
Daily Advent Devotional Books
We have daily Advent Devotional books available for the parishioners of all three parishes.
You will find them in the Gathering Spaces at Immaculate Conception and St. Peter Claver and in the back of the church at Ss. Cyril and Methodious.
There is a suggested $1.00 donation per book.
The books will be available the weekend of November 24 and 25 and through the season of Advent while supplies last.
Is Your loved one in the Hospital or in a Nursing Home?
HIPPA (The U.S. Health insurance port-ability and Accountability Act), pro-vides for patient privacy in hospitals and nursing home.
What that means is that no one will be given information about patients with-out their consent.
It also means that even if patients are asked about their church during the admission process, no one from the hospital or nursing home will contact the Parish.
If you or a loved one would like a pas-toral visit, you or someone you desig-nate needs to call the Parish Office to let us know.
Also if you or a loved one are confined to home and would like to receive a visit and Communion, please call the Parish Office.
Unless we are informed we have no way of knowing about your situation.

Mission for the Week
If you have a piggy bank, take money out and give it to God next Sunday. Shhhh! Remem-ber to give it to God quietly.
A Child’s Prayer Dear God, help me to quietly give you the best of all that you have given me.
Christ Child Academy News & Notes
Congratulations to the 7/8 grade CCA volleyball team as they competed in the invite-only Elizabeth Seton Volleyball Championships in Waukesha. During the week of October 29th, the team advanced all the way to the elite eight until they were defeated. The Seton is the largest 8th grade volleyball tournament in the
Archdiocese of Milwaukee and is the equivalent of the Padre Sierra Tournament for basketball. The team did a great job representing Christ Child Academy.
On Thursday, November 8th, Christ Child Academy participated in Speed Stacking with 635,000 kids from all over the world while at-tempting to get into the Guinness Book of World Records! Speed stack-ing or cup-stacking can be an individual or team sport. This sport is played worldwide, and it involves stacking plastic cups in a number of sequences as fast as you can. Players can compete against each other or for a time. Those that participate work on their hand-eye coordina-tion and ambidexterity.
The CCA Student Service Council is sponsoring our annual November Food Drive for the St. Peter Claver Food Pantry. Last week we collected canned food items such as fruits, vegetables, soups, spaghetti sauce, and fruit juices. This week is the final week and we will be collecting personal care items such as shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, family size bars of soap, boxes of tissue, and toilet tissue. This teaches the students the value of reaching out to families in need.
The 2019 Calendar Raffles are now on sale! The cash payout is $30 every school day and $200 on special holidays. The cost per calendar is $20. The calendar raffles can be purchased in the school or church offices and are available after weekend Masses.
Christ Child Academy continues to participate in the following collection programs this school year: Box Tops for Education Kwik Trip Milk Moola milk caps only
We would like to thank you for your continued support in collecting the above items for our school .

Sharing the Gospel God wants us to be humble, and He wants us to share our blessings. So many people Jesus met were proud, and they thought they deserved special treatment. Other people were rich, but they took what they wanted first and gave God what
was left. The poor widow in today’s Gospel got it right. She quietly gave to God all she had.
