We were sorry to learn of the death of W. Tipsword, section foreman, which .occurred July 27th. Mr. Tipsword died suddenly while worklng on a work train near Afton. H a r r y Rogers, conductor, was injured when he fell from a box car at Hayti. Mo., on August 14th. H e was brought to Cape Girardeau on train 808 and was taken to the St. Francis Hospital, where X-rays showed no broken bones, but just a badly wrenched back. H e will have to remain in the hospital for a week or ten days.
