SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS After assuming the position as Deputy Director, Centre for Research
A scholar-examiners database with their complete details was created and computerized.
A record number of 366 scholars were awarded Ph.D. degree by Anna University Chennai in the 29th Annual Convocation held in December 2008 and “all time high” 455 scholars were awarded Ph.D. degree by Anna University Chennai in the 30th Annual Convocation held in February 2010 in which my role is significant. This record could be possible through e-governance.
Co-ordinated to launch the Online checking of status of Ph.D. thesis processing in the University website and in-charge of its updation. This is the first of its kind in any University in India.
