About the Tree: This year’s 27 foot Concolor Fir comes from Domes Tree Farm located in Bliss, New York in partnership with I Love NY. The tree was installed by the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation & features lights from Lowe’s Home Improvement & old-fashioned silver glass glitter ornaments by Wendy Addison and Tinsel Trading.
Winter’s Eve is produced by the Lincoln Square Business Improve-ment District (BID) whose mission is to make Lincoln Square cleaner, safer, & more beautiful, & to undertake various improvement projects. We focus our efforts on supplemental sanitation & security services; the beautification of public spaces, malls, & parks; & the promotion & marketing of the area’s diverse business & cultural offerings. The Lincoln Square BID acts as a catalyst working with business, community & city partners to promote positive change in Lincoln Square. Our programs & initiatives, including Winter’s Eve, are designed to showcase the rich & varied resources of this vibrant Upper West Side neighborhood.
