CAB REMOVAL 4386,4586 and 4786

1. Remove the hood.

2. Disconnect the heater hoses and plug.

Serial number 1500 and below

Serial number 1501 and above

3. Disconnect the battery ground from the batteries.

4. Disconnect the hydraulic lines at the steering hand pump. Plug and cap all open ports.

5. Disconnect both electrical con­nectors from the cab firewall.

6. Disconnect the rpm transducer.

7. Remove the floormat and floor board.

8. Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the brake valve. Cap and plug all open ports.

1. Steering supply lines 2. Electrical connectors 3. Brake line

9. Disconnect the electrical leads and ether supply lines. Remove the ether supply line and solenoid from the cab if equipped.

10. Remove the battery hold down bracket and park brake cable.

11. Front seat the AIC service valves and disconnect the refrigerant lines at the compressor.

12. Disconnect the governor control rod or cable.

2. Align the marked tooth of the left countershaft with the two marked teeth of the main drive gear.
