Dear Mr. Farnsworth:

On behalfofThe Salvation Army, I cannot express enough ofour gratitudefor your outpouring of support and help through this Asian crisis. What a dayit is for us to work together for such a worthy international cause. Never inmy lifetime have I experienced such an outpouring of support and unity ofpurpose.

My one request is that we as a community) both The Salvation Army and thenews media always be aware that our efforts to help the victims oftheTsunami disaster are unified in purpose and outcome. As we view our roleto be service providers, we are concerned that no one single fund raisingeffort view their success alone. We are committed to a community effort.Ifyour efforts result in little or large results, you are a part of the "total"Salvation Army Tsunami effort. And our public reporting will only indicatethis.

When we say "From Michigan With Love," we are saying together we canmake a difference. Thank you for your support in this challenging project.

Sincerely,

Norman S. MarshallMajorDIVSIONAL COMMANDER

They bring a high level of energy andenthusiasm to the stage show on the day of the Walk.

The Food Bank's monthly Supper Club has also benefited from years of sponsbrshipon dave fm. Supper Club is an easy, fun way to help. In addition to these ongoing events, it seems that dave fm is always looking foropportunities to help. Most recently, they auctioned off a pair of Bruce Springsteentickets to raise funds for the Food Bank.
