Introduction: Within this research, you can expect to find

applications, activities, and lessons designed for use in a first grade classroom.

I will transition through the process of one-to-one implementation that my district has proposed.

Most of the ideas and resources I have collected are from other schools and teachers.

Real life examples with real life results.

Conclusion: The goal of this research was to gather ideas and

tools that I could use to improve student achievement with the use of Ipads in my classroom. • In my opinion, student achievement is in the eye of the

beholder, and cannot be attributed to any one activity, tool, or teacher.

• I know that not all of my students will show achievement on a standardized test. I do know however, that each of them will be learning in my classroom and personally improving with regards to some aspect of their academic career.

When implementing any new tool or educational theory always try to think through 5 simple steps; “in depth planning, proper preparation, implementation, evaluation”, and personal reflection; as it relates to the group you are currently teaching.
