Dear Parishioners,
Even I have to admit that so far this has been a fairly mild winter. Now for all of us who do not like to try to get around in the snow and ice, this is great news. For those who make part or all of their living plowing and salting lots and sidewalks and streets, not such great news. Any way you look at it we are in the middle of February and before we know it Ash Wednesday will be upon us and the be-ginning of the holy season of Lent. I hope that we will take these next 10 or 11 days of Ordinary Time before Ash Wednesday and pre-pare our hearts, minds and souls, for the celebration of Lent which will soon be upon us. I know it might seem as if Lent is still a ways off, but not really, and taking time now to include in our daily prayers and thoughts, ways to celebrate a holy Lenten time will only make that time even more grace filled. My prayer for all of us is that God will continue to bless our days with His grace and fill our hearts with His love, so that come Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent we might enter into a true Lenten journey with Jesus leading to his life giving passion, death and resurrection. That my friends is how much we are loved by God.
Peace, Father Steve Leva

Reminder to High School and Grade School Parents: A participating parishioner is a member of Saint Timothy Parish who faithfully attends Mass on Sunday and who contributes to the support of our parish at that time through the use of Sunday envelopes with a minimum contribution of $11.00 per week as the parish subsidy has been increased to $1,150 per student. In addition, High School students should continue to use their envelopes as well. All contributions will be reviewed and tuition will be charged accordingly.
