It is a wonderful opportunity for us to leave the world behind and, as a daughter of God, build our relationship with our Heavenly Father. We also will create an atmosphere of friendship and fun. We will follow the standards for dress and behavior set forth in the For Strength of Youth pamphlet. While at camp, we urge you to act in a way that reflects that you, too, VALUE Girls Camp. I Value Girls Camp

I will VALUE GIRLS CAMP by . . .

“Like all blessings from God, faith is obtained and increased through individual obedience and righteous action” (True to the Faith).

I will accept and recognize the authority of all the camp leaders. I will follow their counsel and cooperate with their direction at all times.

Acting in Faith

I have inherited divine qualities, which I will strive to develop (Personal Progress).

I will conduct myself as a Latter-Day Saint Young Woman should; I will be a good example to others in my language, jokes, reading material, types of songs I sing, etc.

Remembering that I have Divine Nature

Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God (D & C 18:10).

I will behave in a loving manner to each and every person in camp. I will not ridicule, put down, or in any way make another young woman feel left out. I know it is my responsibility to make others feel a part of the group.

Recognizing the Individual Worth of

Myself & Others

I will continually seek opportunities for learning and growth.

I will participate in scripture study and prayer.

Increasing in Knowledge

I will help others and building the kingdom through righteous service (Personal Progress).

I will come to camp willing to participate in all organized activities and encourage any non-member friends there to do the same.

(This includes getting up in the morning and going to bed at night!)

Performing Good Works

My Pledge:

I will choose good over evil and will accept responsibility for my decisions (Personal Progress).

Recognizing the Importance of Choice

& Accountability

Modesto North Stake Young Women’s Girls Camp

1

We VALUE Girls Camp because we know that camp provides experiences for us to strengthen our testimonies and feel the Spirit. It is a wonderful opportunity for us to leave the world behind and, as a daughter of God, build our relationship with our Heavenly Father.

We also will create an atmosphere of friendship and

fun. We will follow the standards for dress and behavior set forth in the For Strength of Youth pamphlet.

While at camp, we urge you to act in a way that reflects that you, too, VALUE Girls Camp. Choosing to act this way will not only benefit you, but allow you to be an influence on those around you.

As you pledge every Sunday to “stand as a witness of God at all times and in all things, and in all places” (Mosiah 18:9), we ask you to recommit to living the Young Women Values during the week of camp (and hopefully beyond).

When I sign my registration form, I agree to abide by these rules.

Disregard for these rules will result in my being sent home from camp at my parents’ expense.

We love and appreciate what each of you add to camp. We are legally liable for your safety and feel each girl and leader deserves to have an enjoyable

This sheet is for you and your parents to keep.

See you at camp!
