ago and sentenced to life imprisonment- for killing his wifes brother Angell who was an employe of the Southern Express Company at Jacksonville He ogles of a good Virginia family and his trial was attended by the immed ¬ iate members and created a sensation at the time The first hearing resulted in a mistrial and after nearly a year- in jail for the defendant a second trial resulted in conviction with life sentence Defense was based on alle- gation ¬ of temporary insanity Since his conviction Starke has been at a Dunnellon convict camp and it was represented to the board that his I
