1. Hit bottom of the cylinderwith a hammer (1a) while pulling forward on the chairbase (1b).

2. Remove chair base.

3. Apply a thin bead of Loctite approximately 1/2" from the top of the opening in the base.

4. To install new chair base,place base onto cylinder.

5. Turn chair over and sit in itto complete chair baseinstallation.

NOTE: For swivel return stylechairs, make sure to have thebase mounted 45o from thefront of the chair (as shown) and for mobile bases keep the wheels in front of the chair. 3

LOCTITE

NOTE: DO NOT hit the inner cylinder rod with the hammer. Hit the outer rim of the cylinder.
