The Team10 Foster Fund, a scholarship program, was established to help fund college and technical training for youth who were former members of the foster program. A transitional living house for transitioning foster youth, Mary’s House, opened in 2002, and the training of first responders in the identification and care of child abuse victims was addressed in a new symposium entitled the Annual Beth Lennon Symposium. CAPF worked with San Diego County Adoptions in 2005 to improve and facilitate the process of finding homes for foster children who could not be reunited with family.
