Prioritising digitalization
• Format• Availability to players/machinery• Content• Unique?
• Avoiding duplicates• What does ‘unique’ imply?
• Potential for dissemination/accessibility
• Copyright• Money, money, money
Future focus areas
• To disseminate and communicate the collections
• Which material can be published online• How do we reach different audiences• Which channels can we use?
• What should be collected in the future?
• Audio as integrated in general accession politics – not as separate material
• Collaboration with other institutions• We need to learn from others• How do we differ from others – what are our
strengths
