Day 2, Tuesday: LISBON - OBIDOS - ALCOBAÇA - BATALHA - COIMBRABreakfast buffet. Departure from Lisbon towards the medieval walled town of Obi-dos to visit its castle and the Church of St. Mary. We continue to Alcobaça where we visit the church and its monastery cloister. We will travel to picturesque fishing village Nazaré. Departure to Batalha and visit the Monastery of Santa Maria de la Victoria Ma-nueline, a Gothic masterpiece. We end the day in the world famous university town of Coimbra. Accommodation. Day 3, Wednesday: COIMBRA - VISEU - VILLA REAL - GUIMARAES - BRAGA Breakfast buffet. Short visit of the city of Coimbra which include the Chancellor and the University Library. Continue to Viseu located in the Douro River Valley (World He-ritage Scenic Site). Visit the historic down-town pedestrian walkway. We then continue to the upper the Douro and Tras Mountains region arriving into Villa Real, where we will stop to visit the gardens of the Palace of Ma-teus.
