IBERWORLD AIRLINES, S.A. is an airline with a large
experience in charter flights, with a last generation fleet of 7
Airbus A320 and 4 Airbus A330 with an average age of 3.5
years. Iberworld has a varied destiny offer and is supported by a
big business group such as ORIZONIA CORPORATION, leader
in the Spanish market. The security that the technology and
efficiency that a modern aircraft fleet gives them together with
their staff professionalism, training and experience warranties
their customers’ total satisfaction and their strategic objectives
achievement. All the companies that integrate the different
divisions at ORIZONIA CORPORATION, from Viajes Iberia, the
most veteran, founded in 1930, Iberojet and up to the incoming
agency division SMILO or the hotel division LUABAY, both
created in 2008, convert this values into a unique obsession: the
management efficiency in order to provide an integrated and
high quality service to their customers.

Situation
At the company’s operations beginning, back
in April 1998, Iberworld already used the
services provided by Sistemas de Gestion
and used Air/400 as management solution.
Air/400 was the name the software running
under the AS/400 environment had that with
the time evolved into Atennea Air. Due to the
fast growth experimented by Iberworld in the
incoming years they decided to use several
management solutions in order to fulfil their
different areas requirements. At the
beginning of year 2002 Iberworld has
consolidated themselves as a strong
company in the sector and their information
analysis and exploitation necessities had
drastically grown, as well as the necessity of
integrating the different management
solutions that their departments used
Solution
Atennea Air, Microsoft Dynamics based
solution, is the airline management solution,
both for the financial and operative areas.
The potential information geographical
distribution, the multiple business
configurations adaption and the total
integration with Microsoft Windows platform
and Microsoft Office products makes Atennea
Air the suitable tool to accelerate the airline
decisions, having all the necessary
functionalities.
In year 2002 Iberworld decided to implement
Atennea Air as management solution, due to
the advantages its functionality integration
offered and the information analysis
possibilities, essential to accelerate their
decisions taking processes, an everyday
more important fact in such competitive and
