Account Registration

1. Complete the account registration form using your student email *username*@student.unimelb.edu.au. If you are staff, then enter *username*@unimelb.edu.au (replace *username* with your own university username).

2. Check your university email and copy the 7-digit code in the “Verification token” box.

3. Click Create account then Proceed.

Installation

1. Verify if you have a 64-bit or 32-bit operating system. To check, search “About your PC” in the start menu. Scroll down to check your System Type under “Device Specifications”.

2. On the My IBM dashboard, download SPSS by clicking the Download button.

3. Click Download for the version appropriate to your operating system.

4. Open the installation file.

5. Check the box next to “I agree” to accept the terms and conditions, then click Continue.

6. Choose desired installation folder, or leave as default and click Continue.

7. When the installation has finished, click Launch to start the application.

8. Enter your registered email and password to log in.

9. Click Allow access.

10. Now you can run SPSS on your windows device.
