The APCON Solution for Customer Experience MonitoringINTELLAFLEX network monitoring systems provide easy to use load balancing features that distribute traffic to multiple Tealeaf CX capture tools. INTELLAFLEX aggregates monitoring traffic from taps and SPANs across the network enabling complete visibility, plus supports packet conditioning lincluding deduplication and header stripping to increase efficiency of Tealeaf analysis tools. The load balancing feature uses a configurable and adjustable hash algorithm to distribute traffic across multiple Tealeaf CX capture tools, while maintaining layer 3 session integrity. This enables Tealeaf to maintain analysis as well as scale customer experience analysis across an increasing number of capture tools.

INTELLAFLEX intelligent network monitoring systems provide a highly available, fault tolerant and scalable architecture suitable for large production environments using Tealeaf customer experience monitoring. Systems range from single 1RU up to 504 port 14RU modular systems, along with common software and hardware across the family providing flexible scalability and improve operations. In addition TITANXR centralized management software is available for streamlined operation of multiple systems, as well as tablet or phone visibility using the APCON Mobile application.

Customer Case Study A major online travel agency implemented IBM Tealeaf customer experience monitoring throughout its production data center, using an APCON switch to aggregate and load-balance monitored data between several Tealeaf CX appliances.

The implementation used APCON’s ability to create an adjustable HASH to uniquely identify level 3 sessions and keep each session intact on the receiving Tealeaf CX appliance. This implementation also included auto-redistribution for redundancy and backup of session recording in case of link disruption or recorder failure and carrier-grade switching platforms for highly reliable monitoring.
