Speaker BiosEmber Crooks is an Application Engineering Architect for Rosetta, where she plans, builds, and supports IBM WebSphere Commerce DB2 LUW databases for a range of clients. Rosetta is a consulting-centered interactive marketing agency with deep technical expertise built into everything they do. Ember has 12 years of experience as a database administrator, and holds a number of DB2 certifications, including: IBM Certified Database Administrator - DB2 10.1 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows and IBM Certified Advanced Database Administrator - DB2 9.7 for Linux, UNIX and Windows. She writes a popular DB2 LUW blog at http://db2commerce.com, and has presented on the DB2Night show and at the IDUG North America technical conference. Ember was recently named an IBM Champion for 2013.
Anat Dror is a DB2 Domain expert for Quest Software (now a part of Dell) Israel’s enterprise database solutions group. She has over 20 years of technical and management experience in the IT industry, including: providing technical domain support for the development of enterprise database solutions and product roadmaps, designing technical database solutions, providing product and database technical support, hands-on experience with planning, deployment and tuning of enterprise databases of many kinds. Including Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase and DB2, DBA and system administrator, managing large DB2 and CICS environments on z/OS, for the Israeli Defense Force
