ICC Marketing “Buzz” September 2014 Agents Advisory Council Recap Agents Advisory Council was brought back to our home office this year and held on September 10 th -12 th . Below is a list of some of the topics that were discussed. Please let your Marketing Rep know if you have any questions. o Pricing: we continue to monitor the impact of pricing changes. o Products: We discussed possibility of adding Cyber Liability/EPLI through an outside vendor. We will be working toward a more streamlined offering of Non Owned Auto with more options such as sublimits and/or retention, and also increase rates, especially on non-franchise operations. We are putting together a Craft Brewers Endorsement for microbreweries and micro distilleries. o Communication: work on increasing the visibility of the Insider and the Marketing Buzz to improve readership. o Approved Vendor List: we will delete vendors that we know are no longer in business. Please advise us of any changes as they are brought to your agency’s attention. TAILORED COVERAGE: If you would like to change your coverage defaults for new business quotes, please complete the Tailored Quoting of Optional Coverages form found online and email it to [email protected]. Remember that a change to your Tailored Quoting options will not affect existing business. Those policies may be changed by endorsement.

2015 Reward Trip to be held in Puerto Rico

12 agents will be invited to join ICC Management on Feb 15th thru Feb 18th 2015 at the Gran Melia Golf Resort, Puerto Rico. Selection will be based on production of profitable business over the past 4 years (ending 12/31/14) with an emphasis on

the 2014 results. To be eligible, the agency must achieve a minimum 2014 written premium of $350,000. Winners will be contacted immediately after the

first of the year.

TRAP DOORS Trap doors can be hard to notice and extremely dangerous if appropriate safety measures are not enforced. ICC has experienced some significant claims involving people falling through an open trap door. Even one of our own Loss Control employees stepped through one and injured himself. If your insured states that the trap door is “never used” please keep in mind that the various vendors or workers who may also be at risk. Certain carriers will not write a policy with a trap door. ICC will continue to provide a market, but needs to identify the risk and charge the appropriate rate. Please help us decrease the number of claims by stressing the importance of safety to your insureds. Thank you.

Spotlight on Coverage: FINE ARTS

We made changes to our BP Coverage Form effective 9/1/2014 for

Fine Arts. Fine Arts is defined as paintings, etchings, pictures,

tapestries, rate or art glass, art glass windows, valuable rugs,

statuary, sculptures, antique furniture, porcelains, collectibles, and

similar property of rarity, historical value and artistic merit that is

owned by you. Items that will increase in value over time. Fine

Arts are covered as an Optional Coverage and there is a $750

maximum payout without an appraisal. Please keep in mind any

Sports Bars you may insure and the value of the signed jerseys,

balls or sports memorabilia!

1 oz Captain Morgan

½ oz Amaretto

5 oz cola

1 lime wedge

1 cherry

Combine Captain Morgan & Amaretto in an ice-filled shaker.

Shake well. Strain into an ice filled rocks glass. Fill with cola.
