The beautiful JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa was host to the 2019 ICOI/ADIA Winter Symposium. Attendees were treated to an outstanding lineup of speakers and enjoyed the amenities of this world class resort. Continuing its tradition of providing the most up to date dental implant education for the entire auxiliary team, the ADIA podium did not disappoint.
The meeting got off to a fantastic start on Thursday with the entire dental team listening to world class clinicians on the main podium. Following the main podium, attendees enjoyed wonderful appetizers at the cocktail reception and had a chance to catch up with friends and colleagues. The cocktail reception also showcased table clinics and poster presentations where ADIA member Mary Panizian from Canada presented a wonderfully informative poster entitled; “How to Avoid the Most Common Errors in Dental Surgery”. Ms. Panizian’s presentation completed her requirements for ADIA fellowship and it was a great pleasure to present her a Fellowship Certificate in Phoenix.
The Friday ADIA podium program featured a wonderful array of speakers and clinicians who shared their vast knowledge and experience. The meeting continued Saturday with the highly acclaimed ADIA advanced certification courses. The certification courses are specifically designed for assistants, hygienists, practice managers and implant coordinators and provide attendees with an abundance of knowledge making them an integral and indispensable part of the dental implant team. The certification courses are also the pathway to ADIA fellowship, the most advanced of ADIA credentials. Auxiliaries who have attained ADIA fellowship have demonstrated their commitment and dedication to implant dentistry and are often asked to speak on the ADIA main podium.
I invite you to join us for in New York City this August for the ICOI/ADIA World Congress XXXVII. The meeting will feature an exceptional group of speakers and clinicians that is certain to enhance your daily practice. I hope to see you all there!
Best regards,
Avi Schetritt, ADIA Executive Director
