FINAL EXAM Guidelines

The objective of this exam is that you demonstrate practical use of software and ict
resources used in this course.
1. You need to complete this manual as a summary of the products and resources with
pictures and examples.
1- Standards: In this course we learnt about
ICT standards, the dimensions, and what are they used to. We were assigned to work in pairs and answer some questions.
2. We were assigned to review some of ICT concepts and associate applications to them. We had to associate concepts such as Microsoft word, excel, winrar
3. We were asked to watch a video and then answer some questions; such as what is coding?

5. We were asked to answer ICT in the classroom context. We had to think about the importance of implement ICT for second language acquisition.
6. We were asked to answer some questions about a video seen during class about the changes through time and how will be the teaching in the 21th century.
7. We were asked to create a Gloster and prepare a poster about a unit that were assigned individually.

The marks will be given to the quality of the products and resources you are able to
demonstrate. Be creative. You have 120 minutes.

FINAL REFLEXION Include a brief reflection
What is the importance of including ICT resources in your future academic life?
In my opinion, I see ICT resources as a useful tool to learn, especially if we are going to teach a
second language. There are several reasons to look ICT as a facilitator of the teaching, for
example, through ICT resources such as Youtube we could learn easily through videos and
tutorials motivating students to learn. The second example is google docs, through this service
we could work in groups at the same time, it is a helpful way to work each other. There is
another resource called google drive, here we could upload and store our documents.
We have to be aware that students need different methods to learn; moreover, to learn a
second language is not that easy, it requires a lot of work from part of the teacher. I consider
ICT as a facilitator of the learning process, you have access in almost all schools, if you do not
have a computer you could use a smartphone or a tablet, work with ICT catch the attention of
students more than work with worksheets.
As a conclusion, we need to innovate the way we teach, we are in the 21th century, so the way
to teach with worksheets and write on the whiteboard has passed away.
