Instructors teaching two or more Course Reference Number (CRN) sections of a course may want to crosslist them in order to simplify communication to students from those CRNs. Note: You can get help with crosslisting in the following ways: 1. Submit a Service Desk ticket through the GBC Assist app: https://gbcassist.georgebrown.ca/footprints/servicedesk/login.html; 2. Sending an email message to the eLTI Service Desk: [email protected]; or 3. Call the Service Desk: extension HELP (x4357). Start of Procedure. 1. From an Internet browser window (e.g. Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome), proceed to the Identity Management Self-Service portal by entering https://service.georgebrown.ca in the browser address bar. 2. The Identity Management Self-Service login page is displayed. Enter your GBC ID and password, and click Log In.

Instructors teaching two or more Course Reference Number (CRN) sections of a course may want to crosslist them inorder to simplify communication to students from those CRNs. Note: You can get help with crosslisting in the following ways:

1. Submit a Service Desk ticket through the GBC Assist app:https://gbcassist.georgebrown.ca/footprints/servicedesk/login.html;

Start of Procedure.

1. From an Internet browser window (e.g. Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome), proceed to the IdentityManagement Self-Service portal by entering https://service.georgebrown.ca in the browser address bar.

2. The Identity Management Self-Service login page is displayed.

Enter your GBC ID and password, and click Log In.

3. The Identity Management menu is displayed.

Select View or Change Account from the My Access menu.

4. ?The View or Change Account page is displayed.

Select GBC Blackboard from the Account Type menu.

5. ?The Blackboard Account Information page is displayed.

Select Blackboard Crosslist Details.

6. The Blackboard Xlisting Request pop-up box is displayed.

Under Course Code select the course you would like to crosslist, and click OK.

7. A pop-up box is displayed, containing the CRNs associated with the selected course.

Select two or more of the CRNs from the CRN List and click OK. Note: There are 3 ways of selecting multiple entries from the list.

a. Hold the Ctrl key and left mouse button to select individual CRNs from the list. (Click any CRN againto deselect it.)

b. To select CRNs that are adjacent, use the Shift key. Use the left mouse button to click the first CRN,then hold the Shift key. Click the last CRN and release the Shift key.

c. Click the left mouse button on the first CRN and, while holding the button, move the cursor to the lastCRN, then release the button.

8. A pop-up box is displayed, asking you to confirm your request.

Click OK.

9. A pop-up box is displayed advising if there are no other CRNs available to crosslist. Click OK to close.

(The Blackboard Xlisting Request pop-up box is displayed, if you have any remaining Courses you may crosslist.Follow instructions in step 7 to create a new crosslist for the same Course.)

Your email Inbox will contain a message from Blackboard.Admin confirming the crosslisting.

Follow steps 6 and 7 to crosslist another course, or click Cancel to close the pop-up box.

10. The Blackboard Account Information page is displayed.

Select Logoff on the top right-hand corner of the window to exit.
