Being an occupational therapy student forms a large part of my identity. This is required for achieving my goal of a qualified occupational therapist. Study influences all occupations I choose to partake in.

Paid employment is important aspect of my occupational identity. Employment not only benefits me financially, but also in the building of social relationships, personal skills and work ethic.

Being a friend is an important part of my identity. The people I choose to surround myself with have a significant influence on who I am.

Being raised on a farm, I have always been surrounded by animals. I have my own dog and receive great enjoyment from my role as a pet owner, caring for her and ensuring she lives a happy life. Pet Owner

Sport has a strong influence on my occupational identity. I believe sport plays an important role towards building character in an individual through the construction of social supports and life lessons and experiences.

Family is extremely important to me. I regard my relationship with my other family members extremely highly, as my values and beliefs align with those of my immediate family, who have had the biggest influence on the person I am today.

Baking

Baking is very therapeutic for me, forcing me to relax when stressed or upset. I also enjoy the creating different creations through baking which others can then enjoy.

Cleaning

Maintaining a clean home environment is very important to me. This ensures that my home looks presentable and tidy, as I was raised with these values.

Bush Walking

I enjoy bush walking as it gives me the chance to escape outside pressures and admire nature. It is also physically challenges me and gives me a sense of achievement and satisfaction upon completion of the walk.

Singing

Singing is a very therapeutic output for me. It allows me a way to express myself around those who also enjoy it, and is also a way in which to meet new people.
