School Banking temporarily unavailable while a new School Banking Co-ordinator is found.

The Commonwealth Bank School Banking program will be temporarily unavailable at our school while we search for a new School Banking Co-ordinator.

The program requires a small amount of a volunteer’s time one day per week to be the School Banking Co-ordinator. The Co-ordinator facilitates the banking as well as the distribution of School Banking rewards and is provided with support around how to run the program for the Commonwealth Bank. If you are interested in volunteering for this great program, please let the school office know.

Corindi Public School P&C AGM

Our AGM will be held February 18 in the staffroom from 3pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. We always like to see new faces. All positions will be vacant if anyone would like to consider taking a position.

Office News… Please fill out and return the change of details form that is with today’s newsletter if you have changed any phone numbers, addresses, contacts or family circumstances. For any changes to afternoon arrangements please ring before 2.15pm so we can get the message to your child on time. New signage will be installed around the school over the next few weeks. Since the change to our new system each classroom has been called by an Australian Animal name and signs have been purchased reflecting this. As a part of this, except Kindergarten, classes are being called after their animal, and are named as follows: KJ – Possum – Mrs Jarvis KW – Koala – Mrs Wiggins 1E – Echidna – Ms Johnson 2B– Bilby – Mr Taylor 3/4P – Platypus – Miss Simcoe 3/4Q – Quokka – Mrs LaCoste 5/6E – Emu – Mrs Jessett 5/6D – Dingo – Mr Marzinotto When filling out the permission/payment envelopes these are the classes you would use for your child/children. PERMISSION/PAYMENT ENVELOPES – occasionally we have more than one event happening. In this case please send in one envelope per event per child. This assists office staff in the processing and could ensure your child does not miss out on events. Our newsletter goes out via the Skoolbag App. This a free app available in the app store. Just download and search for Corindi Public School. If you wish to receive a paper copy of the newsletter please let the office know.
