Whereas, the Commissioners to Quiet Land Titles have made the decisions that a valid landclaim belongs to Hale Land Commission Award Number 4405 BB an estate in fee simple inthe place stated below.

Therefore by this Royal Patent, Kamehameha IV., the Sovereign whom God in hi grace hasestablished over the Hawaiian Island, hereby makes known unto all men this day on his ownbehalf and behalf of his royal successors that he has granted in fee simple unto Hale allthose certain pieces of land situate at Waihee, lii of Ohia on the island of Maui, theboundaries being thus:
