Abstract—Virtual Reality Technique plays a significant role in

digital construction of the campus. Taking the campus of Guilin

university of electronic science and technology as prototype, the

3-D model of virtual campus has been developed by software 3DS

Max with virtual reality technology. Adopting both development

platforms of VR-Platform and backend database connections,

combining virtual building and photography imaging, 3D virtual

campus system was designed and implemented. The aim of this

paper is to offers a new idea for digital campus construction with

abundant media manifestation modes.
