IEEE Shandong SubsectionIEEE Shandong Subsection was establishedon November 14, 2009, which was the firstinternational academic organization inShandong province.

After almost two years of development, nowwe have more than 100 IEEE members and38 student members.

Mission of IEEE Shandong subsectionto provide a communicating platform forp g presearchers, engineers and manufacturerson electrical and electronic in ShandongProvince.

We also would like to provideprofessional education and services forthem to improve their professionalthem to improve their professionalcompetence.

Shandong adolescents science and technology invention Summer Camp in Shandong University

In 2010 summer vacation, IEEE Shandong subsection, Shandong ElectronicSociety, School of Information Science and Engineering jointly hosted Shandongadolescents science and technology invention Summer Camp. IEEE SDU studentBranch also joined in this activity.j y

The Summer camp invited excellent students from the province and providedthem with professional training in research. We held 4 courses to convey science

From June 19 to July 5, the formerChairman of IEEE region 10, ProfessorSeiichi Takeuchi, who comes from TokyoDenki University School in Japan wasinvited to make short-term visit.

He gave a course on 4G wirelesscommunications for graduate students.

University faculties in ShandongProvince were invited to the course.

Invited 10 to 15 significant experts inbroadband wireless communicationsfrom China to give keynote speeches.
