• IEEE Turkey Section invites 2009 IEEE Region 8 Meeting to be held in Istanbul.
•We are resonably a large section with many chapters and student members
• MembershipThe IEEE Turkey Section 2240 active members with many student members (9 Fellows, 68 Senior Members and 1085 Student Members).
• We hold many technical meetings and support many conferences each year 7 (AP), 16 (COM), 8 (CS), 6 (EMB), 5 (Circuits and Systems), 4 (SP), 4 (PE), 3 (LEO) technical activities, 10 conferences, 5 GOLD meetings and Student Branch Congress have been held in 2007.
•We could help in the local organization of the 2009 Region 8 meeting with our resources.
