IEEE-USA is an organizational unit of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. created in 1973 to support the career and public policy interests of IEEE's members in the United States.

• Each Student Branch has a Branch Counselor (faculty advisor), a Chair, a set of Officers, and possibly Mentors

• Student Branches may have one or more Technical Chapters which are called Student Branch Chapters and belong to the Branch

Each Division has a Division Director and a Division PACE Coordinator

What is PACE? (Professional Activities Committees for Engineers)

A network of IEEE volunteers and committees organized at the section and chapter levels with support from Regions and IEEE-USA.

PACE promotes: The professional interests of the U.S. members

The professional activities within sections of the region and student branches.

A mechanism for communication of members' views on their professional needs.

PACE Project Forms In order to receive funding for a PACE program, a

PACE Project Request Form must be filed with your Regional/Divisional PACE Chair and the appropriate IEEE-USA Staff.

After the completion of the Project, a PACE Project Report Form must be filed with your Regional/Divisional PACE Chair and the appropriate IEEE-USA Staff.

Final funding payments cannot be made until the final report is received and approved.
