Price Board Notification No. 912October 23, 1947

In accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the Price Control Ordinance, the controlled'selling prices of the canned goods shall be designated as follows, and the Price Board Notifica-

ti >n No. 169 on Novemb.r ll, 1946 (concerning the,designation of the controlled selling prices ofthe canned foods) shall hereby be abolished :

Sales terms, etc.a. The controlled prices of this list shall ba those of goods which have been qualified by

th§ Inspection supervised by the Government and prices of those which failed to reach thestandard shall be the amount deducted by 15% from the controlled prices of this list. ^

The price of those which do not undergo the said inspection shall be the amountdeducted by 50% from the controlled prices of this list.

b. The controlled p.ice of this list shall include the commodity tax.c. The terms of the controlled selling prices for packers shall be ex factory. The term%

of the controlled selling prices for Japan Canned Goods Co., Ltdl shall be [ex warehouse,, f.o.r. at the station, f.d. at the harbor and f.o. s. riverside, respectively nearest to •E

purchasers., The controlled sel'ing prices for wholesalers shall be those delivered to thedoor- of -purchasers. The controlled selling prices for retailers shall be those at store ofseller or franco. *

d. Japan Canned poods Co., Ltd. may sell to other than wholesalers at the controlledselling p ices fqr wholesalers at the same delivery terms for wholesalers.

e, , The ©ohtrolled selling prices 'for different types of cans from those of the list (hereaftercalled B articles) shall be/computed from the equivalent item of the larger or the largestcan size of this list (hereafter called A article) in the following manner's :. •E

(3) The controlled selling prices for retailers (per can)Add 5% of equivalence to the controlled selling price for wholesalers of B article andthe total amount shall be divided by the number of cans contained in a case.

(4) Fractions lower than 10 sen in the last calculation shall be disregarded, 5 sen andhigher fractions being counted as 10 s n..
