Push To Call (PTC)
The Push To Call (PTC) switch allows the user to place a call to a number thathas been programmed into it, such as a family member’s cellular phone.Programming this feature can be found at Advanced Setup at this URL.www.trackingtheworld.com/pldadvancedsetup.html
Geo Fence
This button can be used for Geo-fencing under advanced setup.Programming this feature can be found at Advanced Setup at this URL.www.trackingtheworld.com/pldadvancedsetup.htmlThe software included with your subscription to our tracking service also hasthis capability.
User-Defined Button
This feature is not currently available.
Volume Buttons
The WorldTracker PLD has two volume buttons for controlling the audio volumelevel. These buttons are functional whether in a call or not. The ‘+’ button isused for increasing volume and the ‘–’ button is used for decreasing volume.

3 SIM Card Installation / RemovalThe WorldTracker PLD comes with a prepaid SIM card. The SIM card is placedunder the battery after carefully removing it from the larger card.
1.The belt clip must be removed
to open the battery compartment.
2. Firmly press the battery cover latch and pull the
battery door open.
3. Slide the tray to the unlatched
positon to insert or remove the
SIM card.
4. Place the SIM card under the
battery.

4 Charging the BatteryThe WorldTracker PLD is supplied with a Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery.Remove the protective cover between the battery and the PLD before charging.Use the USB cable connected to a desktop or laptop to charge the battery.The PLD must be charged for 12 hours prior to use.
5 Advanced SetupThe WorldTracker PLD can be programmed with advanced features:
1. Emergency Voice monitoring and/or two-way voice communication.2. Programming phone numbers to call.3. Programming the PLD to use SMS or GPRS.

6 Viewing DataTrackingTheWorld.com requires Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher in order tofunction properly. To view dates, times and speed of a record, click on aspecific point.
Use the calendar to view historicaldata of the movements your targethas made. Blue dates have data,white dates do not. To change themonth, click the arrows on the top leftand right.

7 Downloading DataTrackingTheWorld.com automatically saves all location information sent by yourtracker to our server. If you wish to keep backups of your tracking data or to usethe data in other mapping programs, simply select the date you wish to downloadusing the calendar. Then click on the “Download .csv data” link. The left photo shows the calendar from the current day and the right photo shows the calendarfrom 2 days before.
You cannot down-load data for the
current day.

and the current daywill be displayed in
yellow.

Select the “Security” tab.Then Select “Custom Level.”
Make sure that the “Access datasources across domains” option isenabled.
Most major US cities havespecial “Birds Eye View”mapping. When Birds EyeView mode is available foran area you are viewing, thenavigation tool shown to theright will change to allow youto switch to Birds Eye View.

9 Google EarthYou may have to change your Internet Explorer browser security settingsin order for all features to be available. Select the “Tools” drop down menu,and click on “Internet Options...”
To use Google Earth first download itfrom http://earth.google.com. Afterinstallation, select “Use Google Earthfor your map” on your tracking page.
If you have any anti-pop up features enabled, please allow pop-ups fromwww.trackingtheworld.com.
Copy the addressunder step 3.
Open Google Earth. Select the “Add”menu then “Network Link.”
In order to keep the map updated withthe latest location, set the time basedrefresh option to match the frequncy ofyour trackers reporting intervals.
In the location field, paste theaddress you copied earlier.
Make sure there are no spacesbefore or after the address thenclick OK.

To obtain a complete activity report for aspecific day, first change the map type toVirtual Earth.
Click the “Driving Report” link. The reportwill display in a new window. You must useInternet Explorer to view the reports.
These detailed reports aredivided into two sections:the “Driving Report” and the“Parking Report”. Travel dataincludes street address,duration of stops, mileage,speed and other daily traveldata.
These reports can be printedby selecting “File” and then“Print” from within InternetExplorer.

11 Geo FencesA Geo Fence is a virtual fence (a square around a certain location) that youcan preset online. When the WorldTracker PLD enters/leaves the fence, youwill receive an alert via email.
To set up a Geo Fence, first click the “GeoFence” button.
Using the map view, zoom in and out to frame the area you wish toinclude in the Geo Fence. When satisfied with the area covered on thescreen, enter your e-mail address and click the “Set” button.
If your cell phone supportsemail, you can receive mobileGeo Fence alerts.
You can set multiple fences inas many locations as youdesire.
You can also set a Geo Fencein an area that the vehicle isnot currently in and be notifiedwhen the vehicle enters thatarea.
Once a Geo Fence has beenbreached, you will need toreset the Geo Fence again forthat area or it will not report.

12 Polling Feature
Adjust the Interval of the Tracker's automatic Polling feature.
3. Once you choose an interval, the tracker will keep reporting at that interval or stop reporting until you change this setting.
2. Choose one of the intervals, enter the password 0000 and click on Send. You can have it send its current location by choosing Poll, report by different time intervals, report by distance intervals, or stop reports.
