Prospects for the future: The industry’s innovation platform.Welcome to IFAT 2016.

As the world’s leading trade fair for environmental technologies, IFAT

presents strategies and solutions in the sectors for water, sewage,

waste and raw materials management for using resources in intelligent

cycles in a manner that ensures their long-term preservation—and

with a great deal of success!

When it was held in 2014, IFAT broke all records and did an impressive

job of demonstrating its leading position. A total of 3,081 exhibitors from

59 countries presented their extensive product and service portfolios

in the sectors for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management

on more than 230,000 square meters of exhibition space.

A total of 135,288 visitors from 168 countries were on site to ex-

perience the latest industry trends and use IFAT as a visionary platform

for international networking. The fair’s outstanding events program

convinced visitors due to its wide range of topics and the collaboration of

several trade associations and political organizations.

The next IFAT takes place in Munich from May 30 to June 3, 2016. Once

again it will revolve around profound expert knowledge. Take advantage

of this opportunity to present your products and services to a highly

qualified audience of industry professionals and make promising business

contacts.

Unique: Your machines, vehicles and products in practical use.

At the Building Materials Recycling demonstrations, the VDBUM shows

how machines, excavators and attachments are used on asphalt, concrete,

steel and building materials.

The Practical Days (VDMA) focus on the shredding technologies of various

manufacturers and include live demonstrations of how they are used for

biomass such as standing timber, scrap wood and green cuttings.

The Trucks in Action (VAK) demonstrations revolve around vehicles

and superstructures in the sectors for waste disposal, street cleaning,

winter road services and sewer cleaning.

The Car Recycling (BDSV) demonstrations focus on storage, drainage

and the removal of hazardous materials from end-of-life vehicles to recover

resources.

The Professional Competition (DWA) allows aspiring specialists and

seasoned professionals to put their know-how in the field of sewers

and sewage treatment plants to the test.

Inspiring and spectacular: Live demonstrations at IFAT.

The Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) presents preventative

systems for flood protection and show mobile systems for purifying

drinking water in actual use.

Additional information about the live demonstrations is available at
