QUALIT Y AND EXPERIENCEIFSA-Butler’s affiliated universities abroad are at the top of their countries’ rankings, and some are among the highest ranked universities in the world.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
IFSA-Butler was founded in 1988. We have more than 25 years of experience, longevity and reliability on our side.
COMMITMENT TO AUTHENTIC CULTUR AL EXPERIENCES
Our programs strive to give students an authentic cultural experience. In Latin America, students live with carefully selected host families, and we house only one student per family for maximum language and cultural integration. In English-speaking programs, students enroll in courses at renowned universities
alongside degree students. We also take students on amazing, off-the-beaten-path excursions that showcase the beauty and culture of their host countries.
F INANCIAL BENEFITSIFSA-Butler doesn’t have any hidden charges. All of our fees, deposits and any supplemental charges such as meal plans, are clearly outlined on our website. In addition, our fees never change due to fluctuations in currency exchanges.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE
IFSA-Butler offers scholarships to students with demonstrated financial need, with awards ranging from $500 to $5,000. We offer a monthly payment option for all semester and year programs, and we accept transfers of financial aid from home colleges.
I F S A - B U T L E R S C H O L A R S H I P O P P O R T U N I T I E S
IFSA-Butler believes that study abroad should be within the reach of every student, so we offer a wide range of scholarships and financing services. Any applicant to an IFSA-Butler program who meets basic eligibility requirements is welcome to apply for the opportunities below.
USE YOUR FINANCIAL AID TO STUDY ABROAD!
Many students don’t realize that financial aid can help pay for study abroad. Pell Grants, Stafford Loans and PLUS loans can apply to your IFSA-Butler program.
College grants and scholarships, Perkins Loans, state grants and loans, and 529 plans may also be used for study abroad, but you’ll need to ask your home campus financial aid office about their policies for transferring these types of aid.
