Sir, Your kind attention is invited to the above cited subject, this office letter and

proposals mentioned in Annexure-I, wherein the State Government was intimated about the intension of this office to close/destroy the old files for want of receipt of compliance reports / complete information for consideration of the proposal.

2. As no compliance has been received even after repeated reminders, in accordance with Para 4.14 of the "Handbook of Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980, Rules and Guidelines & Clarifications" issued by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, the thirty six project proposals of the State Government as per list attached are rejected for non-furnishing of essential information for the period from 1st January, 2012 to 31st December, 2012. All these files have now been closed and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

3. It should be the responsibility of the State Government to ensure that no forest land is illegally used for non-forestry purposes in respect of all these proposals listed. Strict action against the violations of the provisions of the Indian Forest Act/Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 be ensured.
