rig facilities. Enginccring designs include conceptual power system

study, load and short-circuit calculations, power generation

configuration selection, power distribution schemes and system neutral

grounding methods. The final selected electrical system consists of 4units, 4160V Ruston TB-5000 dual-fuel turbine generator sets,

4160V/480V power transformers, medium and low voltage switchgear

an<l motor control centres, emergency power systems of diesel engine

generator set, UPS, DC batteries and chargers. The total platfonn power

gcneration capacity is 13 MW.Mr Lim is also responsible for preparing the general and equipment

specifications, procurement assistance and equipment inspection and

acceptance tests for major equipment. Detail engineering also include

load analysis, voltage dip system stability study, short-circuit analysis

and overall elcctrical system rclay co-ordination study to cnsure

protection systenr discrimination is achieved. The overall electrical

system is designed in accordance to the rcquirements and certified by

American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), He is also responsible for the

platform steel jacket and pipclines cathodic protection system as well as
