iLEADPROGRAM HANDBOOK

iLEAD is the University of Newcastle’s International Leadership Experience and Development Program. It is an exceptional opportunity for University of Newcastle students to gain experience and skills in the areas of leadership and international awareness.

As part of the program students will:• Attend dynamic, interactive lectures with real world take home

messages.• Hear from highly respected international figures – people who are

famous in their fields of expertise, who have travelled the world, who have led and been part of significant international events and organisations.

• Have the opportunity of taking part in countless events domestically or around the world.

The flexible delivery allows students to design an individual path through the program, and complete the program at an individual pace.

Program completion will be recorded on the students Australian Higher Education Graduate Statement (AHEGS), and is a highly valuable addition to a students resume on completion of their studies.
